Reduce
taxes:
There
is a high rate in poverty and unemployment in Uganda and yet the government
is making increments on taxes and imposing new taxes, example is the once
proposed television tax.
The increment in telephone airtime, sugar, and fuel is a big blow to development.
For development to take place, there must be transport and communication.
Since fuel and airtime has been heavily taxed, the transport and communication
has been hindered. Most commodity prices have already risen because of
the expensive fuel.
How then will an ordinary Ugandan with little money ever come out of poverty
if it will cost a lot of money to start a small business?
